It is our belief

that every person, regardless of age or circumstance, adds to the success of the community through their contributions.
In the past year,

over 3,000 young children, youth and families were impacted by the programs of the Council on Rural Services. It is with a positive spirit that we join others in meeting our communities' challenges in making a better place for all of us to live.

Cheryl Buecker - Secretary

Ms. Buecker joined the Board of Trustees in 2008 and serves as Secretary, and a past Chairperson of the Board. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Miami University, a master’s degree in early childhood education from Wright State University and a master’s degree in education administration from the University of Wisconsin. She is retired after teaching preschool, Kindergarten, first and second grades, with the last 23 years spent at Edison Community College where she was faculty and program director for the early childhood education program. Cheryl currently serves as a consultant to monitor the Ohio Department of Education on quality services to preschool children
