Dr. Laurie White, PH.D - Community Rep

Dr. Laurie White has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2013, and chairs the Personnel Committee. She retired in March 2022 after 31 years at Family Health Services of Darke County, where she served as both the Director of Behavioral Health and Wellness Services and Director of Organizational Planning and Development. Following her retirement, Dr. White has continued her professional journey as an independent clinician and organizational consultant at local, state, and national levels. 

 

Dr. White earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Southern Illinois University and subsequently obtained a Master of Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in clinical social work. In 1998, she completed her Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee, focusing on clinical evaluation/outcomes, administration, and organizational behavior. 

 

In addition to her role on the Board, Dr. White is actively involved with several organizations, serving on the boards of the Darke County YMCA, Darke County CASA, and the Coalition of a Healthy Darke County. She resides in Bradford.
