With a vision to inspire

the most potential in people, our programs prepare young children for school and our youth to seek a higher sense of achievement.
It is our belief

that every person, regardless of age or circumstance, adds to the success of the community through their contributions.
In the past year,

over 3,000 young children, youth and families were impacted by the programs of the Council on Rural Services. It is with a positive spirit that we join others in meeting our communities' challenges in making a better place for all of us to live.

Jill Welsh - Community Rep

Jill Welch joined the Board of Trustees in 2022 and serves as a community representative. Jill is currently working three part time jobs and loving them all as a speech and language pathologist. She works with individuals from birth to whenever. She is married to Al Welch and they have 4 children and 17 grandchildren. They feel very blessed. Jill states" I have been acquanted with Head Start since I was in grade school and hey were housed in our little country church. I most recently worked with your staff in Van Wert and I am excited to be serving on the board".
