Mr. Meyer joined the Council on Rural Services Board of Trustees in 2016 and serves as the Chair Emeritus.
Matt Meyer is from Anna, Ohio. He is the Director of Student Services at the Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua. Prior to Upper Valley, he spent eighteen years at Anna Local Schools, the last five as the middle school principal.
At Upper Valley, he oversees all of Student Services, including special education, counselors, recruitment, public relations, job placement, vocational coordinators, school nursing, testing, and the Student Assistance Center. He has an Associate Degree from Edison State Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University, and a Master’s Degree from The University of Dayton. Further, he earned his Principal and Superintendent licensure from the University of Dayton.
His wife, Christa, is a nurse and they have four children and two grandchildren.
